Cancer is much easier to treat if detected in its early stages. However, one problem many physicians face is that not a lot of people are really informed about the illness. Hence, in many cases, it is detected in its advanced stages and is very difficult to battle by then.

In an effort to raise awareness about cancer, Carolina Physicians Group, American Cancer Society and Levine Children’s Hospital are teaming up this February to raise funds for cancer research so they can push for better ways to detect it early on and hopefully find a cure.

Known to be active participants in community building and health awareness in Charlotte, ChiroCarolina expressed their support for this fund raising. This is why they are joining forces with Carolina Physicians Group, American Cancer Society and Levine Children’s Hospital in this program. ChiroCarolina Charlotte chiropractor Dr. Ferzaan Ali said, “Any way we can help the Charlotte community, we are interested in participating. We are excited about this joint fundraising venture with Carolina Physician’s Group, The American Cancer Society and Levine Children’s Hospital.”

ChiroCarolina is a chiropractic clinic serving Charlotte’s Uptown, NoDa, and University area- located conveniently off North Tryon Street. The chiropractors and staff of the clinic often serve as volunteers in Charlotte’s community program. Dr. Ali of ChiroCarolina is a member of the Carolina Physicians Group and is active in its programs. It is their honor to team up with American Cancer Society, a group that has been working relentlessly to treat cancer for over 100 years, as well as Levine Children’s Hospital, which was named the Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report for cancer.

With these big players together, cancer patients and their families are given more hope to find a cure for the illness.
