ChiroCarolina®, a Charlotte-based chiropractic and acupuncture clinic, is inviting their patients and the community in helping them promote the cause of the Brain Injury Association of NC. The goal is to address the needs of patients and survivors of brain injury and find ways in lowering the risk of accidents that cause brain injury across the state. The doctors of ChiroCarolina® do not only promise financial support, but also active participation in the activities of the organization, such as the Annual Summer Picnic. The gathering aims to increase awareness about brain injury and proper care for patients suffering from it as well as to raise funds that will be used to assist patients and their families. The chiropractic clinic has already announced their partnership with the Matthew Gfellar Research Center whose primary concern is treating and protecting young athletes from traumatic brain injury. ChiroCarolina® is also happy to announce that they have joined partnership with the VA hospital as well in their VHI program. The program encourages clinicians to participate so they can learn more about proper care for veterans and active duty personnel that suffers or suffered from traumatic brain injury.
