ChiroCarolina® Chiropractic treatment

The purpose of our treatment is to find the root of the problem, relieve pain, and help the body heal naturally. Based on scientific principle, restricted spinal movement leads to pain and reduce the functionality of the body. Chiropractic treatment is non-surgical and drug-free. With that said, how can we help you?

Chiropractic adjustments

A chiropractor can apply a spinal adjustment to allow herniated disc reset back to its position and free pressure of the sciatic nerve. The manipulation restores misaligned vertebral discs and free restricted spinal movement. This adjustment also helps to relieve nerve irritability for pain, inflammation, muscle, and other sciatica symptoms. The adjustment varies from the minimal force and gentle pressure to quick high-velocity thrust. The adjustment will lessen the pain and allow the body to regain mobility and nerve signal flow.

Spinal decompression

Pinched nerves and spine compression can be as a result of dried discs in your spine. Our chiropractor will use spinal decomposition to relieve compression that is causing the pain. The method can also improve space between the vertebrae.

Charlotte chiropractor exercises

A static movement of your muscle can worsen sciatica pain. Depending on the cause of your pain, our chiropractor will draw an exercise plan for you. This exercise will be aimed to avoid sciatic nerve aggravation but also improve muscle mobility and relieve pressure from tight and inflamed muscles. The exercise may include a stretching program that you can do at home or work.

Lifestyle changes

Changing your lifestyle is one of the most effective ways to relieve sciatica pain. Our chiropractor will look into the aspect of your life, and recommend a new way of sitting, sleeping, standing to improve your positioning of the sciatic nerve. These changes can strengthen your muscles and restore your vertebrae to its normal position. This is important because the stronger your back is, the less likely you pressure your sciatic nerve.
